What is the Birthday Log Initiative?
The Birthday Log Initiative is a team building exercise that helps improve your groups communication.
This is a great transition game from Ice Breaker Games to Initiative tasks.
How to play: Birthday Log
- Have students stand in a line on a bench or log.
- Without talking or stepping down, they must organize themselves in order of birthdays.
You can also have students organize themselves according to other characteristics (ex. shortest to tallest, by favorite color, etc). Try using blindfolds to increase the difficulty
